About LGBT National Senior Helpline

The LGBT National Senior Helpline provides free, compassionate, and confidential support over the phone. We are here to assist LGBTQ+ seniors in the United States with emotional support for a variety of issues, including abuse, domestic violence, anxiety, bullying, dementia, Alzheimer’s, depression, family issues, gender and sexual identity, grief and loss, loneliness, relationships, self-harm, stress, suicide, trauma, and PTSD.

We are available to discuss any mental health concerns, from crises to general well-being. Our service is free, and we are committed to preventing suicide. If you are considering suicide or self-harm, or if you notice warning signs in a friend or family member, we are here to help.

When you contact us, you will speak with trained peers or volunteers who are experienced in helping people in your situation. They will listen to your story, help you understand your feelings, and work with you to overcome your challenges.
